a   Why Anima?   b

I guess the simplest explanation for my love of Anima is the fact that she is the most powerful Aeon in the game and helped me sooo much when I first got her. I credit most of my completing side quests that involve battles to her really.

I also think that her story should be told. She, like my other favorite characters of Edea Kramer of FF8, Vincent Valentine of FF7, etc, she is a minor character who plays a large role in the story. If it wasn’t for her, we would have no Seymour, no ultimate Aeon, no obstacle in the story. I also loved tragic and sorrowful aspect of her ‘soul’ is one that can be easily related to our world.

The name is pretty simple: a long time ago I sucked at thinking up names for shrines. I sort of put together “hey, she’s sort of the Queen of the Guado” and “Hey, she is so full of Sorrow” and this is what I got. I have grown to love this name over time and will probably never change it.

This site was originally created in the Summer of 2002, hosted at Cioffe.com. I sort of neglected it after I obtained my new domain and became less and less interested Final Fantasy X. I have revived it because even though it was neglected, I still loved it and considered it one of my greatest works [ who knows why! ].
